The Bullock museum tells the History of Texas. There are artifacts there that span over 4,000 years. One of the museum highlights, The Texas Story Project, is a special collection of first-person stories told by Texans about Texas.

LBJ Presidential Library
Situated on a 30-acre site on The University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas, the Library houses 45 million pages of historical documents, 650,000 photos and 5,000 hours of recordings from President Johnson's political career, including about 643 hours of his recorded telephone conversations. Exhibitions include permanent and temporary ones and the events calendar stays full. A great peak into the life and legacy of Lyndon B Johnson.

Blanton Museum of Art
The Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin is one of the largest university art museums in the U.S. with 189,340 square feet devoted to temporary exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, storage, administrative offices, classrooms, a print study room, an auditorium, shop, and cafe.

Lady Bird Wildflower Center
The Lady Bird Wildflower Center was founded in 1982 by Lady Bird Johnson and Helen Hays as a way to inspire the conservation of native Texas plants. It is the official State Botanic Garden and Arboretum and has tons of programming for all ages.
