Lions Municipal Golf Course, commonly referred to as "Muny", was the city's first public golf course. Muny is host to many notable golfers and is on the Texas Registry of Historic Golf Courses. Located between downtown and Lake Austin, it's an easy get to course that doesn't disappoint.

Horseshoe Bay Resort

Horseshoe Bay Resort is an award winning luxury golf resort with three golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. a signature Jack Nicklaus members-only course, and an 18 hole Zoysia grass putting course. The Resort sits on the shores of Lake LBJ, about 52 miles Northwest of Austin and has world class spas and dining as well. Definitely a great day trip.

Butler Pitch & Putt

Butler Pitch and Putt is a 9 hole, Par 3 course in the heart of Austin. There are no tee times or reservations to be had, just show up. They offer a live web cam so you can see how busy it is. There is an incredible food onsite and merch that is as creative as you'd expect from this 75 year old golf course.
