Each year the city hosts the Austin Symphony HEB July 4th Concert and Fireworks. This is the largest July 4th celebration in Austin and is sure to be a huge hit once again in 2025. This local event will take place once again at Auditorium Shores and the Long Center for a night to remember. The Austin Symphony will be playing a wonderful patriotic music set over at Auditorium Shores that can be heard over at Long Center. The race is comprised of three parts including swimming, biking, and running. Participants will begin their experience in Lady Bird Lake before hopping on a bike and then finishing with a long distance run. This local event has been running since 1978 here in Austin and is now the largest 10K race in Texas and the 6th largest in the country. Thousands of runners are expected to lineup at the starting line for this incredible race. The Capitol 10K race also offers plenty of fun for those watching you at the finish line with food vendors, free massages, adult beverages, and a kids’ zone.
