Things to Know
Please pay close attention to the following: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
-A 3-night minimum stay may be required.
-The maximum occupancy is 6 adults.
-Skyfall is a wonderful quiet family retreat and as such is for guests only. No parties, events, or gatherings of any kind. Failure to comply will result in vacating of the property and no refund given. The neighbors are close by and noise carries due to the location of the property so please be mindful, kind and respectful. The local Sheriff asks for all outdoor amplified sound to be off by 9:30p and all sound that could cross the property line, including voices, to end at midnight. Enjoy the property but later in the night, the neighbors & Sheriff's office thank you for bringing it inside.
-The exterior of the home is monitored 24/7 via video cameras and there are noise & occupancy monitors inside the home.
-Rental Agreement must be e-signed after booking, which requests the names and ages of adult guests.
-Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
-Additional deposits may be required.
-No pets allowed. If you are traveling with a pet, reach out as we can help you find a pet-friendly place.
-The pool is covered during the month of November - April and not available for use.
-To keep our home beautiful, we ask that you not hang decorations on the walls. Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home.
-Enjoy a smoke, just not inside or on any of the decks or balconies. This includes vaping of any kind. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine. Be aware that the hills of West Austin are a woodland and only you can prevent wildfire! Along with care in smoking, no lit candles or open flames of any type are allowed. Use the provided propane grill for any outdoor cooking.
-Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences are non-refundable, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F-1, etc.
-The property around Skyfall contains some trails. The trail are maintained by the local deer, not by humans. Explore at your own risk as it is easy to slip, fall or get lost in the woods. Be mindful that some trail can lead you to neighboring properties and unlike the local deer, you will be considered a trespass.
-The home is located in a heavily wooded area and while it does have regular pest treatments in place, due to the environment, you may see pests and wildlife during your stay inside and outside the home. Outdoors, do not approach the wildlife but rather enjoy them from a distance. They will leave you be if you extend them the same courtesy! Some wildlife you might see includes deer, bobcats, eagles, foxes, armadillos and you may hear coyotes.
