Brigadoon is a massive property with seven acres of land in a ranch-style setting. The property is in the Westlake Hills area of the city so you have direct views of the city from atop the hills. A stay at Brigadoon is perfect for those wanting to indulge their luxury tastes inside the mid-century resort-like home.

Guests will arrive at Brigadoon and instantly fall in love with the beautiful scenery and exterior of the property. Brigadoon is a two-story home that features a main level and lower level and is massive in size. Guests will step inside and marvel at the luxurious features found all throughout the home. When guests first step inside they will follow the concrete flooring to the main living room area. From here guests can enjoy time on the plush furniture seating, huge flat-screen TV, and charming décor. The living room features views of Downtown Austin making it perfect to spend some time in as the sunset starts to hit the city. The main level utilizes an open floor plan to directly connect all common spaces together. The fully equipped kitchen is just a few steps around the corner. Here guests will find commercial-size stainless steel appliances so they can prepare a meal of any size. The marble countertops are lovely to look at and the spacious cabinets have everything you need for your meal. Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Specifically, Brigadoon features a total of five bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests during a single stay. Each of the bedrooms features an en suite bathroom so everyone has plenty of privacy. These en suite bathrooms can feature dual vanities, walk-in showers, soaking tubs, shower/tub combos, and spa-like features. Guests can find the master suite on the main level. The room comes with a plush king-size bed with fine linens and a large Smart TV. Three of the guest bedrooms are also on the main level just down the hallway. Two of these rooms feature king-size beds while the third comes with a queen-size bed. The final guest bedroom is found on the bottom level of Brigadoon and is the only room on this floor. The room features a queen size bed along with an en suite bathroom similar to the other bedrooms. Guests will also find additional sleeping arrangements in the family room located on the main level. Walk into a space that is light and bright, with wide plank wood floors leading the way to treasures that simply can’t be ignored. The living room features a plush leather chesterfield sofa in chocolate brown facing a wall of built-in bookshelves and a state-of-the-art television to be enjoyed in rare moments of downtime. Dark oak framed windows line the walls, letting the light and views in while maintaining privacy as they start a little higher up the walls than normal. A second seating area directly behind the main living space offers the perfect conversation spot for 4 guests in soft blue upholstered chairs.

The dining area features elegance and a touch of quirky Texan style with a heavy wood table surrounded by mismatched chairs; 4 are cushioned for your comfort and relaxation and the two captain’s chairs at either end of the table offer curved back chairs that are fun and stylish. The kitchen of this ranch is a modern space filled with professional-quality appliances that complement the concrete topped center island and dark stone counters that circle the perimeter of the space. Custom cabinets painted a cheerful yet give the space a country charm that appeals to all, as does the apron farmers sink perched below a window that stares out onto the Texas landscape.

The downstairs of the main house, yes, there is also a bunkhouse, is a bright room surrounded by mirrors, while the first bedroom upstairs offers another queen bed, this one with an upholstered headboard that brings comfort to late-night reading sessions. The master bedroom of Grace + Grit is truly a space to behold, featuring a king bed, shiplap walls, and a private entrance to another screened-in porch, this one containing a small table, chairs, and a porch swing that will be perfect for holding hands and intimate conversations that last late into the night. The attached rustic master bath designed with dark wood, antique cabinetry, and a slipper tub is destined to be the hottest spot in the home.

This beautiful ranch is meant to be shared with large families or happy groups of friends traveling together, offering space for up to 16 guests to sleep comfortably and the second upstairs bedroom, anchored by 3 double beds (also offering upholstered headboards) is the next room we will explore. White walls, wood floors, and large windows ensure that every room is a bright one, but shades can be pulled down to create the optimal sleeping experience, allowing guests to sleep late every day of their stay! As we discussed earlier, once upon a time a musician lived in this resort-style ranch and the building that he used for his recording studio has been transformed into a bunkhouse that offers space for 12 more guests to sleep! A media room with a large television, shuffleboard table and separate game table surrounded by 4 upholstered chairs greet guests upon entry. This space is destined to capture the imaginations of all who sleep here, offering a giant room containing 5 twin beds, 3 double beds, and a trundle in a space surrounded by windows! This will be the room that everyone wants to call their own as secrets are shared, stories are told, and uncontrollable bouts of laughter and giggles ring through the rafters!

The outside areas of Grit + Grace are where the magic of the ranch comes alive! Offering a resort-style pool with a slide and accompanying hot tub, playtime will be raucous and fun! A large Baja shelf provides space to sit, sip, and tan, a waterfall offers a touch of serenity, and a firepit located off to the side is where ghost stories will be told, and marshmallows will be roasted. The back yard of the ranch is an oasis of fun and comfort, offering a screened-in porch containing two dining tables, a gazebo, and an outdoor kitchen that offers an impressive grill, granite countertops, and more places to sit.
